Department Processing of Personal Data and Web Law
The Department develops corporate models for processing personal data, in
compliance with the provisions of the European Regulation no. 2016/679
governing privacy issues, also known as General Data Protection
Regulation.
The professionals of this Department act also as Data Protection Officers
(D.P.O.), performing the compliance monitoring activities for their clients,
explaining the guidelines concerning the data protection obligations, and
coordinating the relationship between the data subjects and the Supervisory
Authority.
The Department provides consulting and advice on legal issues concerning
electronic commerce, online contracts, online payments, and information
services in general. In particular, our professionals are specializing in the
following matters: consumer protection issues related to electronic
commerce; information to be provided to online customers; exercise of the
right of withdrawal; and out-of-court settlement of disputes
